The Storeroom

The storeroom was for keeping tools and other farm-related utensils. The voussoirs of the rampant arch are designed as a precaution against earth tremors. The other elliptical arch is an arch intended to carry the weight of the overlying flagstones, without trenching into the wall and risking its solidity.
