The chapel, had two access doors. The main door through the main hall was for the noble family and their invitees. The lateral door (accessible from this area) served for the clergy conducting the prayers. A window overlooking the staircase allowed the servitude to hear and follow the prayers on condition that they carry on with their duties.
MORE: The presence of a chapel inside a house was a symbol of nobility and wealth. Next to the blocked window are graffiti of upside-down maritime vessels and a trophy coat of arms of Grand Master Pierino del Ponte (1534-1535). Upside-down graffiti indicate stone recycling.
